This filter is used only for light duty. It is almost unknown in Europe under the Anatrol name as it is sold mainly as an OEM product to American Gas Chromatograph vendors.

Its main use is as a final protection for delicate sample valves, flow meters or needle valves. It has the same Swirling action but only has one filter element. It is low cost but still gives good service life and trouble free maintenance.

Applications are mainly in the Natural Gas and Petrochemical Industries This filter is not recommended for use with liquids.

Filter elements are available from 0.5 to 100µ in a variety of materials such as polypropylene, AISI-316 and -304 stainless steels. [For exact mesh sizes consult your local representative].

Filter body material is only available in AISI-316 stainless steel.
